This is an aerobic and bodyweight cross training class. Its based on various martial arts drills and conditioning exercises. The program utilizes aspects of karate, jiu jitsu and kickboxing while maintaining a structure suitable for non-martial artist as well as the seasoned student. The class is cardio in nature, but provides elements of endurance, strength, power, resistance and core training. This is accomplished through stand up work, bag training and martial arts kickboxing drills.
Most classes will include High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). HIIT torches calories! This cross training class is a great activity to reduce and relieve stress. The class can also help to improve balance, flexibility, coordination and endurance. Its a total body workout!
The class does not involve physical contact between participants.
