Why Rising Sun Fitness?

Rising Suns Fitness Conditioning class is based on various martial arts drills and
conditioning.  The program utilizes aspects of karate, jiu jitsu and kickboxing while
maintaining a structure suitable for non-martial artist as well as the seasoned
student.  The class is cardio in nature, but provides elements of endurance,
strength, power, resistance and core training. This is accomplished through stand up
work, floor bag training and martial arts kickboxing drills.

The best part about Rising Sun Fitness Conditioning is that it is designed for people
at all levels of fitness.  Participants can customize their workout by adjusting their
intensity level to best suit their personal fitness goals.  The class provides both
aerobic and anaerobic exercises that will help maximize not only burning fat but also
gaining muscle.

Besides keeping your body fit, this program will torch calories and is a great activity
to reduce and relieve stress.  The class can also help to improve balance, flexibility,
coordination and endurance.  It’s a total body workout and you’ll also learn simple
self defense moves.

Unlike other types of martial arts based fitness programs, Rising Sun Fitness
does
not involve physical contact between competitors
— it's a cardiovascular
workout that's done because of its many benefits to the body.
